Petros is a bank employee. He works in the delay and encroachment department, which used to be called foreclosures and auctions. There he meets Galini, a client of the bank.

Petros is fascinated by Galini, but recognizes that the chances of any relationship between them flourishing other than professional is probably slim – the bank soon intends to foreclose on Galini’s house. Because of this, Petros continues to live in his routine that includes fights with customers, consumption of high-tech gadgets and occasional sex with Mrs. Nikolaou (his boss at the bank). Until Live Better, a self-help and self-improvement company informs him that he fits the profile of the person they are looking for to host their half-hour TV show of the same name. And he invites him to participate in a selection process as apart from Petros there are about ten other people who also fit the company’s profile. Galini among them…

Live Better is a black comedy about the Greece of economic crisis and mental collapse. He speaks of those who lose the ground under their feet and of others, the sky falls and flattens them. But they continue, both of them, in some way to survive hoping that when the riddles of their lives are solved, when they come out of the broken labyrinth of the lifestyle of modern Greece, at the end of the tunnel, they will see some kind of light.
