The film takes place in a small port in the Peloponnese. Iordanis Kyroglou, a man of influence and a teacher in the Masonic Lodge, with the police chief Yatrakos, tries to gather information about the arrival of the cargo ship “Naomi,” carrying wheat from Panama to Israel.
Around the waiting for the ship, various stories unfold: the leader of Palestinian commandos Abdullah al-Fakir, the Jewish Sarah Ben Susan, Kyroglou’s daughter, the leader of a neo-Nazi group, the editor of the local newspaper, and 17 girls from the Balkans, in search for a new home.
