ABOUT SHOWTIME

The film and television production company Showtime Productions was born with the vision of creating innovative Greek producers worthy of abroad and aiming for their international distribution.Quality, experience, consistency and sharing perfectly match the way the company has been going and growing all these years.

OUR VISION

Our company aims to produce 2 motion pictures per year for the domestic and international markets. At the same time, it has created an independent department with its own television formats in reality and fiction.

DIRECTOR - PRODUCER

PANTELIS KALATZIS

Pantelis Kalatzis was born in Athens in 1984, studied Business Administration and Marketing, however he followed his great love, directing, with studies in England and France.

NIKOS VOURLIOTIS - NiVO

He began his artistic journey as a cartoonist, in newspapers and magazines, while in the mid-80s he followed his great love, music, first as a DJ and then as the creator and "frontman" of the popular rap group Goin' Through.

ESTABLISHMENT

This year the establishment by the director Pantelis Kalatzis is a fact. The short films Decay and Fiji collect 4 international awards and then the documentary The Ark of the World, all directed by Pantelis Kalatzis, is also awarded. His and the company's purpose is to bring a different image that will be able to travel around the world.

A SHIP FOR PALESTINE

Pantelis' special relationship with his spiritual father and teacher Nikos Koundouros brings their first joint production "A Ship for Palestine". It is the first feature-length production of Showtime Productions and the swan song of the great director Nikos Koundouros. The film's theatrical distribution was handled by Feelgood.

The movie Marionettes is the first feature film of the director Pantelis Kalatzis. The film's theatrical distribution was handled by Audio Visual and set a box office record for its genre. The film in 2017 was also sold in Asia.

Premiere - The Bachelor

In 2016 Showtime Productions brings The Bachelor to theaters. The film exceeds 100,000 tickets and its sequel is decided immediately. The distribution in theaters was done by Village in co-production with Alpha and Nova.

Premiere - The Bachelor 2

A year later, the Bachelor team returns and becomes the highest-grossing film of the year and the highest-grossing comedy of six years, surpassing 230,000 tickets. The film closes distribution abroad and the script for the third part begins.
